I won a RCS3 custom rod at a Trout Unlimited event. I chose a 2-piece 3wt. This rod quickly became my favorite go-to flyrod. The light weight and great action make it perfect for dry fly fishing and light stream nymphing. My RCS3 fly rod was constructed with the high quality and attention to detail that I look for in a fly rod.  I’ll be proud to hand this rod down to my son… but not today.

My son was fortunate enough to win a custom 2wt fly rod at a club competition. He was smaller at the time and it turned out to be the perfect size to teach him to fly fish. He and I still use it as a stealth rig. It helps to get into very tight conditions. He loves his fly rod and especially his name beautifully written on the rod. A very nice personal touch.
